Free flu vaccinations 2023
From 22 July to 31 August 2023, the Queensland Government is offering free flu vaccinations to all Queenslanders over 6 months of age. They are encouraging everyone to get vaccinated. It is particularly important for children, those over 65 years, vulnerable Queenslanders and pregnant women to be vaccinated.
Flu clinic
We will be holding flu clinics at Salisbury Medical Centre 24 & 25 July in the afternoons. If you haven't had your flu jab yet, please call our reception team on 3277 1621 to make a booking. Flu clinics are for vaccination only so if you do need to speak to a doctor about other health issues, please make a separate appointment.

Adults 65 years are now able to access a new pneumococcal vaccine
A free RSV vaccination is now available for over 75s or for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people over 60.
RSV vaccination is recommend for pregnant women from 28 weeks
