Flu season is here

Who is eligible for a free flu shot?

People aged 65 years or over. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over. Pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy. People aged 6 months or over who have a medical condition that is associated with an increased risk of influenza disease complication. To be eligible you must a have a valid Medicare card.

Flu vaccines are recommended for everyone 6 months and older.

How do I arrange my flu shot?

We are running flu clinics for patients who only need to get their vaccination. If you need to see your GP for medical care, you can also get your flu needle. Please call 32771621 and we can make a suitable booking for you.

Can I get my employees vaccinated?

If you want to offer flu vaccinations to your employees we are able to visit you onsite. Our immunisation nurse, Min can arrange to come to you. Speak to our reception team for help to arrange this.
