Who can get a 715 Health check?
All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people can get a free health check at Salisbury Medical Centre.
What happens at a health check?
Health checks will vary depending on your age. It should take 40-60 minutes. Your health practitioner will check your blood pressure, blood sugar levels, height and weight. You might also have a blood and urine test. You can speak to them about your family history and any health worries that you have.
What are the benefits of having a health check?
Having a regular health check can keep your health heading in the right direction. It can prevent small health problems becoming big ones. The information provided is confidential which means they need to have your permission to share the information.
How much does it cost?
The health check is free and you will be bulk billed at our practice.
