Christopher Tutt

Principal Psychologist

Chris is here to help. A psychologist who is currently completing further training in the Master of Clinical Psychology (Advanced Entry) program through the University of Southern Queensland. In clinical practice, Chris believes the key to effective therapy is to balance validation with behaviour change to support client centred goals. This is guided by an individualised, flexible, and affirming approach to be useful to you.


Chris is formally trained in a range of therapeutic techniques including:

- Dialectical Behavioural Therapy

- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

- Interpersonal Psychotherapy

- Family Therapy

- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

- Mentalization-Based Treatment

He is also a Supervisor Training & Assessment Program (STAP)-endorsed supervisor. Chris has over eight years of experience working in mental health services across a diverse caseload including complex and severe child and youth presentations. These include supporting clients in headspace, as a senior Psychologist with Queensland Health’s Child and Youth Mental Health Services and, most recently, private practice working with adults and adolescents.

In his spare time, Chris is a soccer fan, coffee lover and devoted dog dad to Lucky the beagle.
