Where to get care when Salisbury Medical Centre is closed

Salisbury Medical Centre is open from 7.30am until 6pm from Monday to Friday and 8am to 12pm on a Saturday. We are closed on public holidays.
If you or your family need care and our medical centre is closed, alternative options are available:
Out of Hours service
Call 13SICK (that's 13 7425) and request a bulk billed, after-hours doctor home visit. The doctors are on the road from 6 pm weeknights, 12 noon Saturdays, all day Sundays and on public holidays.
Alternatively, if you phone the centre after hours, your call will be automatically redirected to this service. If you need emergency medical attention, please call 000.
Urgent Care
Urgent care is when your illness or injury isn't life-threatening but you will require same-day medical attention. No appointment is needed. There is an urgent care clinic at South Brisbane, Browns Plains or Indooroopilly. Open 8am to 10pm 7 days.

Eight Mile Plains Satellite Hospital
For conditions that aren’t life-threatening such as:
- fever, cough and cold
- rash and infection
- earache, toothache and eye problems
- broken bones and fractures
- minor cuts, wounds and burns
- minor head injuries

You can call 13 HEALTH (13 43 25 84) to speak to a nurse 24/7.
Emergency Department
For any serious or life-threatening illness or injury, you need to go immediately to an Emergency Department (ED) or call 000 and ask for an ambulance.
