Our GPs can help with a range of mental health support services
If you are experiencing feelings of sadness, lack of motivation, hopelessness or anxiety, speak to one of our GPs for advice. It is best to book a long appointment to talk through your mental health concerns with your GP. This will enable your doctor to assess your needs and provide advice. The GP may want to set up a mental health care plan. This involves an assessment of your mental health issues which also entitles you to Medicare subsidised rebate to be referred to a psychologist.
