What is MyMedicare

MyMedicare is a new voluntary patient registration initiative by the Federal Government, aimed at strengthening the relationship between you, your general practice, general practitioner (GP) and primary care team. 

By registering for MyMedicare you’ll get access to:

• greater continuity of care with your registered practice, helping to improve your health outcomes

• longer MBS-funded telephone calls with your usual GP

How to register for MyMedicare

Via my.gov.au

  1. Log in to your MyGov account
  2. Navigate to 'Medicare' under Linked Services
  3. Select "Register for MyMedicare"
  4. Select 'Start'
  5. Search for Salisbury Medical Centre
  6. Select your preferred practitioner
  7. Review and submit your registration

Via Hotdoc

Via the practice in person

  1. Visit us in the practice and bring your Medicare card
  2. Fill out and sign the MyMedicare form
  3. Our team will submit your registration on your behalf
